Senior Account Executive

Job Description

We’re TheyDo, a fully remote B2B SaaS organisation. Founded in 2019, we are the leading journey management platform, on a mission to make the customer journey the most powerful business tool there is.

In March 2024 we announced our latest funding round worth $34 million. Combined with our Series A raise in 2022 it takes our total investment to just under $50 million. Our angel investors include executives from Intercom, Miro, OpenAI, Amplitude, Slack, Airtable and more.

We support and partner with renowned enterprise organizations such as Cisco, Ford, Johnson & Johnson, Home Depot and Polestar, helping them manage their complex journeys and optimize them for efficient growth, removing the need for constant transformation.

We kicked off 2024 with a global team of 65 TheyDoers, representing over 30 nationalities across 20 countries.

This is just the beginning. Join our exciting journey as we scale to over 100 by the end of this year!

We’re looking for someone motivated to join a fast-growing, customer-led growth team as one of our first sales team hires! Are you someone looking to make their mark? Our sales are primarily generated by turning inbound interest into users who want to become customers. We are pioneering a customer-centric approach to PLS.

What you will do

This is an Enterprise sales role with a strong requirement for strategic, value-based selling. You’ll be helping customer experience teams, product managers and design experts to assess and make the case to adopt TheyDo at scale in their organizations.

    • Nurture and accelerate conversion of inbound leads at incredible logos
    • Continuously qualify those opportunities along the buying journey
    • Be able to proscriptively drive your opportunities through the buying journey from discovery to demo to consensus building to formalization
    • High fluency in our solution, beyond features, to articulate key business pains it solves
    • Cover key talking points and show examples of how our tools work
    • Negotiate and articulate the different ROI of the solution to different buyer stakeholders
  • Own your territory to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly targets:
    • Gain a deep understanding of key prospect accounts and your territory
    • Forecast revenue
    • (Over)Achieve revenue quota
  • Communicating transparently - as we are remote, using asynchronous messaging to keep people in the loop is essential
  • Find improvements to how we enable people to become customers
  • Communicate your insights with the product and marketing team so they can act on this
  • You have a high hustle rate: demonstrate a high level of output in order to achieve results

What we’re looking for

  • 3-5 years of Enterprise B2B closing experience, of which 1 year should be in SaaS environment is a hard requirement to be successful in this role
  • Additional non-closing sales experience on top of that is of course welcome!
  • Fluency using value-selling and/or strategic selling methodologies to continuously qualify complex buying journey
  • Ingenuity skills with an ability to teach people about our solutions
  • Emotional intelligence and collaboration are a must
  • Digitally Savvy - experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Slack and Notion
  • Coachable - how quickly do you learn and how quickly can you form new habits?
  • Ambiguity & Adaptability - We are an early stage startup, and things change week over week, so does the product
