As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Fingerprint, you will play a key role in leading the development and architecture of our web-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance, drive best practices, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, possesses strong leadership skills, and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality, innovative, scalable software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and support to foster their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with team leads, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
  • Architect, design, develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Node.js and React.
  • Implement responsive and user-friendly UI/UX designs.
  • Drive adoption of best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies across the team and organization.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code standards.
  • Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Help grow the team by participating in technical interviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions to improve our existing systems.
  • Act as a technical liaison between engineering, product management, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack web development.
  • Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React, with a deep understanding of core principles and best practices.
  • Expertise with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Solid understanding of database systems, of both SQL and NoSQL varieties.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation Range (US Based)

$190,000 - $220,000

Offers vary depending on, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, certifications/licenses, skills, training, and market conditions.

Due to regulatory and security reasons, there’s a small number of countries where we cannot have Fingerprint teammates based. Additionally, because Fingerprint is an all-remote company and people can join our workforce from almost any country, we do not sponsor visas. Fingerprint teammates need to be authorized to work from their home location.
